Crop forecasts possible in Armenia

le=”text-align: justify; “>Crop forecasts are from now on possible in Armenia, Deputy Minister of Ahgriculture Armen Poghosyan told reporters.

“The Ministry of Agriculture is implementing seven international cooperation programs. We are cooperating with the Armhydrometeorology service, as well as with the Statistical Service, to be able to help our farmers by providing forecasts to them.

Poghosyan noted that the previous programs improved the situation in Armenia’s agricultural sector by raising agricultural entities’ awareness.

“Our target group is the farmers that have no access to the information on what is the best for them,” Poghosyan said.

“Human resource development is our major task,” Poghosyan said.
