Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited on Wednesday the Euroterm Company.
Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Robert Sahakyan and other officials accompanied the premier.
Established in 1998, the Euroterm Company plans to construct a new plant and invest US $6.8m in the project.
The company plans to invest US $1.7m from its own funds, with the rest US $5.1m to be allocated as a long-term loan.
In 2007, the company purchased a land tot to grow fruits. The company has planted over 80,000 trees there this year.
Euroterm Company President Eduard Ghazaryan told journalists that the government issued an AMD 220m loan to the company for purchasing agricultural produce. The government is also ready to assist the development of the plant.
