Armenian human rights organization vs police chief

le=”text-align: justify; “>The minor court of Yerevan’s Center and Nork Marash communities has adjourned consideration of a claim Artur Sakunts, Head of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor office, lodged against Chief of Armenia’s police Vladimir Gasparyan.

Mr Sakunts told Tert.am that the consideration was adjourned as Mr Vahe Grigoryan, who defends the interests of the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor office, petitioned for the consideration to be adjourned because he is busy at another trial.

The Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly-Vanadzor office demands that Chief of Armenia’s police Vladimir Gasparyan publicly retract his claims and pay a symbolic AMD 10 to the human rights organization and to the killed soldiers’ mothers that held a protest in front of the Armenian government for slandering them.
