le=”text-align: justify; “>Behind-the-scenes talks have it that the ex-speaker of Armenia’s parliament Hovik Abrahamyan may be re-elected as parliament speaker after the parliamentary elections.
This time, however, he will be “returned” to the post by Gagik Tsarukyan, Chairman of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP).
According to some information, Mr Tsarukyan announced his intention to set the following condition to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan after the parliamentary elections: support in the 2013 presidential election in exchange for re-election of Hovik Abrahamyan as parliament speaker – especially if the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) wins the elections, with Mr Abrahamyan as head of the RPA election campaign office.
In his turn, Mr Abrahamyan tells his people he will certainly re-assume the office.
