15 candidates withdraw from parliament race

Fifteen out of the 180 candidates nominated in different constituencies across Armenia have quit the parliament race, it became known today.

As of Thursday morning, the following contenders were reported to have withdrawn their candidacies: Yervan Chilingaryan (Electoral District No. 40); Samvel Samvelyan (No. 30); Senik Elvinyan (No. 29); Grigor Danielyan (No. 29), Manuk Hakobyan (No. 27); Hakob Hakobyan (No. 26); Masis Melkonyan (No. 24); Vahagn Hakobyan (No. 22), Gagik Margaryan (No. 21); Henzel Arakelyan (No. 18); Jonik Abrahamyan (No. 17); Edward Madatyan (No. 11); Raffi Hovhannisyan (No. 7), Albert Sargsyan and Hayk Hayrapetyan (No. 2).
