People=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Party Leader Tigran Karapetyan Believes his Party is Alternative in Armenia

People’s Party leader Tigran Karapetyan views developments in Armenia’s political arena ahead of the 2012 parliamentary elections negatively.

At a meeting with journalists in the capital today, the party leader said that politics has become an assessment of means, when it should be of ideology.

“We all bear crosses, but no one’s striving for justice. Whoever has money, whoever is audacious, succeeds in everything. But everything shouldn’t be determined by power and money,” he said.

Karapetyan believes that his party is an alternative in domestic politics, and he will find honest people who still exist and who will back him in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

He is not preparing to collaborate with any political parties or groups, he adds.
