Armenia’s Minister of Transport and Communication received the President of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) Jean Tod and discussed issues related to traffic safety in Armenia.
According to a press release by the Ministry, Jean Tod told Manuk Vardanyan that the goal of his visit is to get familiarized with the existing safety problems in traffic in Armenia and seek and find joint solutions to them.
He also said that the IFA is planning to design concepts aimed at improving the situation related to traffic problems and implement them worldwide.
Manuk Vardanyan, in turn, said that Armenia has done a significant work in the sphere of traffic safety, adding that NGOs played an active role in it.
