The delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the British House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox visited the Armenian Genocide memorial on Tuesday, the press service of the Armenian National Assembly reported.
The British parliamentarians laid flowers on the genocide memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the big tragedy. They also visited the Genocide Museum and left notes in the book for honorable guests. Baroness Cox watered a tree in the Genocide memorial park, which she had planted back in 2002.
After the flower laying ceremony, Baroness Cox said the British people always remember the atrocities of 1915 and it was very important for them to be in a place symbolizing the tragedy.
