Armenian students in Georgia call for condemnation of Genocide

The Armenian Students Association of Georgia calls on the student unions in the country to condemn the fact of the Armenian Genocide.

The association has issued a call, asking student organizations to make official statements condemning the big tragedy.

“The Armenian Student Association of Georgia calls Georgian student organizations, including student councils of institutions of higher education, in the name of commitment to justice and democratic values, to join the initiative of the civilized world community and to come with official statements condemning fact of the Armenian Genocide,” reads the statement.

The association members also ask student unions to join an April 24 commemoration event dedicated to the 96th anniversary of Genocide.
