Karabakh NGOs Dissatisfied With OSCE Activities

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) Minsk Group cochairmen convened a press briefing in Stepanakert on October 11, stating that they were completing their "field assessment mission in the territories adjacent to Nagorno-Karabakh."
According to the French co-chair of the Group, Bernard Fassier, the goal of the mission is to form an idea about the situation and "assess the humanitarian needs of the people living there."

United States co-chair Robert Bradtke said that they consider it important to visit all areas affected by the conflict.

"We need to understand the situation and listen to the people living here. We also intend to visit other areas that were affected by the conflict and are of interest to all parties," said Bradtke.
