"No to Plunder" Movement Says its Members are Being Followed by "Shady Characters"

16:03, June 27, 2015

Yerevan's "No to Plunder" movement, in a statement issued today, claims that its members and participants in the electricity rate hike protest are being followed by what it describes as "shady characters".

The movement says that it is bringing this situation to the attention of law enforcement and other state agencies, instructing them to refrain from such intimidation tactics.

Hetq got in touch with movement member Maxim Sargsyan who verified the above news, noting that two individuals in civilian dress had appeared outside his house taking photos of his car.

"They were recording my address by phone. I heard it. My friends also report that they are being followed. They also followed movement member Artour Kocharyan, but I don't know the details," Sargsyan told Hetq.
