Zhoghovurd paper refers to the upcoming elections of Yerevan Council of Elders and mayor, reminding that in 2009 the list of Prosperous Armenia party (PAP) was headed by ex healthcare minister Harutyun Kushkyan.
This time as well Kushkyan has been offered to top the list as he is accepted by the country's authorities as well. The paper says Kushkyan though has refused the proposal and PAP is currently in search. In the initial talks the name of PAP faction secretary Naira Zohrabyan has few times been mentioned but she is not inclined to head the list. The PAP representatives say it will be decided by the party's leader Gagik Tsarukyan.
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun wants its list be topped not by Artsvik Minasyan but other representative.
