According to a sociologist the frontrunner in the coming local government elections of Yerevan city council scheduled for May remains to be the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), which has the highest chances to win.
The parties will start submitting their lists of candidates this Monday (March 10) for participation in the forthcoming May 5 elections.
Sociometer sociological center held a survey among 1,160 adults on December 21-23, which showed that of all the mayors the Armenian capital has had over the past two decades of independence, current mayor Taron Margaryan has the highest rating.
