Decision 2013: A night of speculations after Raffi-Serzh closed-door talks

While thousands of supporters of Raffi Hovannisian, officially the runner-up in the February 18 presidential election, are waiting for a word from him on further actions, the media have been speculating about what the opposition leader might have discussed with President Serzh Sargsyan, the official election winner he is challenging now, at a meeting held at the presidential compound behind closed doors Thursday afternoon.

When it became clear yesterday that Sargsyan's Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) had canceled its scheduled public rally in the capital's Liberty Square, where Hovannisian supporters had been waiting for the event, the opposition leader himself walked up to the Presidential Palace responding to an earlier invitation from Sargsyan to meet him "at any time".
