Armenia's government has not approved the resignation application of the Armavir mayor Ruben Khlghatyan, as according to the territorial administration deputy minister Vache Terteryan, his resignation has personal motivation.
"The ministry has conducted working discussions to find out the reasons which showed that they cannot be combined with his authorities registered by the law," Vache Terteryan said.
The deputy minister said Khlghatyan has been appointed on March 20, 2012. He has served in the office for less than the year and has a number of incomplete projects.
The PM said it is right approach to reject resignation applications with such grounding.
