The Armenian National Congress (ANC) parliamentary faction has announced that he is boycotting this week's session of the National Assembly which opened today as a sign of protest against last week's presidential election that has proved to be "another instance of disrespect" for the Armenian people.
In a statement the opposition bloc, which did not contest the vote, but whose leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan, in fact, acknowledged the "victory" of opposition candidate Raffi Hovannisian (as opposed to the officially announced victory of President Serzh Sargsyan), said that on February 18 the government once again used its "full potential" for rigging the vote.
