Armenian NA holds hearing of amendments to family code

On Monday, the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, Parliament of Armenia, organized a public hearing of the government-submitted draft amendments to the RA Family Code.The draft sets the minimum marriage age, 18 years, for men and women.Speaking at the hearings, government officials, representatives of NGOs and national minorities considered the draft largely acceptable.
