Hayrikyan – President initiative group has been set up with 40 people already joined. Paruyr Hayrikyan, leader of the National Self-Determination Union party, has already stated about his decision to run for presidency.
Speaking to reporters today, Hayrikyan said he feels pain for all those people who will nominate their candidacies against him.
According to him, the parliamentary opposition has already been formed and the government staff has already been mapped. The situation is under the control of the President Serzh Sargsyan.
Asked why he is running for presidency in case Serzh Sargsyan holds the situation, Hayrikyan said it is so only in the government and the National Assembly, presidential elections are quite another thing.
"I say the political force that makes the majority is headed by Serzh Sargsyan who holds the situation, president, in many cases is the office of the moral leader and with my moral description I may become Armenia's president," Hayrikyan said.
