Hovik Abrahamyan questions motives of protesters; warns against provoking police

In a post written by Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, and circulated by his press secretary in Facebook, Abrahamyan claims that "forces have gathered at Baghramyan Avenue whose real aim isn't to raise the issue of the electricity rate hike but to foment instability in the country and clashes amongst citizens."

Abrahamyan writes that these forces have pushed "incomprehensible and near-sighted political agendas to the fore, and not the issue's social or economic component."
