Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan doesn't seem to be willing to give up his conspicuous silence on whether he will run for the office or whether he will lend his support to the incumbent president. Meanwhile oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) is facing clashing ideas and conflicting viewpoints.
Some of the authoritative figures among the opposition speak in favor of cooperation with PAP, while others are categorically against having any connection with Tsarukyan. ANC's criticism has often targeted him ever since the controversial 2008 election.
