Armenian News: Syrian Armenians Won't Have to Pay for RA Passport

Armenia's government decided today to waive the 65,000 AMD passport processing fee for citizens of the Republic of Armenia living abroad or for foreign citizens of Armenian extraction threatened with loss of life or health due to prolonged residence in countries undergoing political or social unrest.

Waiving of the fee is designed to facilitate the relocation of Syrian Armenians to Armenia.
