Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has urged his Cabinet members to intensify efforts on combating corruption as he conveyed a message to that effect from the head of state.
At the beginning of the government session on Thursday Sargsyan, according to his press office, said that he had a meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan to discuss ways of boosting efforts aimed at uprooting government corruption.
"We are not satisfied with this situation and the president demands decisive action, including surgical methods, that would lead to tangible and visible results," Sargsyan underscored.
