Main opposition group to boycott high-level “anti-corruption=?UTF-8?B?4oCd?= meeting

The meeting of the Anti-Corruption Council originally called by the prime minister for today has been postponed till Saturday, it emerged on Friday.

Before that, the main opposition bloc, Armenian National Congress (ANC), issued a statement in which it said it would not attend the meeting after being invited to it by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

It was not immediately clear whether the ANC position and the position of another opposition-leaning force, Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), had played a role in the decision to delay the meeting, or whether it was an overnight emergency that occurred in Karabakh where a truck transporting troops crashed, killing four and injuring 15 servicemen.
