It=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Beginning to Look a Lot Like New Year: Yerevan municipality sets golden and blue tone for holiday season

The last days of autumn have been marked by large-scale preparations in Yerevan for upcoming New Year celebrations that started in the Armenian capital earlier than usual this year.

While snow, the main symbol of winter holidays, is not forecast in Yerevan at least for another week, the New Year mood is kept up by a number of shops that have already started to offer various items for New Year holidays – from lamps and garlands for the Christmas tree to full-size reindeer and Santa Claus toys.

Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department at the Yerevan Municipality Artur Sarukhanyan told ArmeniaNow that this year for the first time the city authorities will implement the city festive design based on their recently developed "New Year Concept".
