Armenian IT firms successful at Georgia conference

Several Armenian companies have won awards at a recent prestigious information technologies conference in Georgia.

The USAID-funded Enterprise Development and Market Competitiveness (EDMC) Project, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre, and X-Tech on Monday announced the accomplishments of the Armenian delegation at the Georgian IT Innovation (GITI) conference held in Tbilisi earlier this month.

According to an EDMC press release, Armenian high-tech companies won five awards and the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre won two awards out of fourteen award nominations for business and government sectors, which are as follows: X-Tech's project CityBugs – the Best Integrator of the Year and the Best Multimedia Project; E-Agro – Complex Business Solution award; Innovative Greenhouse – the Best Business to Business Solution award; Instigate, with their training center project in Goris – the Best IT Education award; State Cadastre – the Successful IT Innovation which Resulted in Streamlining of the Business Project and the Best Information Resource awards.
