Armenia to address Iran=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s polymeric material export problems

The Armenian government instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the problem related to the embargo on export of polymeric raw material from Iran.

The measure has resulted in the shortage of some products used in several industries in Armenia. (Such material is used in production of a variety of goods, including rubber and plastic.)

"The Foreign Ministry is currently negotiating a solution to the problem with the Iranian side," the government's press service said on Tuesday.

Iran has halted the export of about 52 products, which resulted in the suspension of polymeric raw material supply to Armenia for the past two weeks. This, in turn, could have an adverse effect on the country's agricultural sector and processing industry.
