Armenian Armed Forces mark October 19 the Day of Rocket and Artillery Troops, press service of the DM reports.
On that occasion an event was organized in one of military units October 20. Armenia's Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov, officers, veterans, soldiers attended the event.During it the divisions of troops demonstrated drills for the attendees.
The minister rated high the role and significance of the rocket and artillery troops both during the Artsakh war years and in peaceful condition. Ohanyan said these troops not only act within the framework of their narrow specialty but are standing by the side of tank divisions.
During the ceremony a number of officers and soldiers were awarded medals and gifts.
