Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Friday Mr Taleb Rifai, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization.The Armenian leader stressed the importance of the international conference "Universal Values and Cultural Diversity in the 21st Century: How can tourism make a difference?" and of World Tourism Organization's role in developing tourism throughout the world.Mr Taleb Rifai pointed out efficient discussions during the conference, which unanimously approved a declaration on cultural dialogue.The sides also stressed the important role of tourism in protection of cultural heritage and environment.President Serzh Sargsyan and Mr Taleb Rifai exchanged views on tourism development program in Armenia, the country's potential and need for using Armenia's advantages in the field.
