Parties Fail to Reconcile in Mirzoyan v. Chorrord Inknishanutyun

At today's slander trial in which Paravon Mirzoyan is suing the Chorrord Inknishanutyun newspaper, Simon Babayan, attorney for the plaintiff said the two sides had failed to reach a settlement out of court.

Newspaper attorney Hovik Arsenyan, in response, repeated the argument that Chorrord Inknishanutyun shouldn't be the one being sued but rather Hetq, because the defendant had taken reports that appeared in Hetq.

We should note that the court has already dismissed this motion by the defense,

The court will declare its decision on September 11.
