Armenian death toll in Kuban flash floods rises to six

Six Armenians are among the victims of severe flash floods that hit Russia's southern Krasnodar region on July 7, according to the latest information published by the administration of Krymsk, the town in the epicenter of the disaster.

Earlier, citing official information, the authorities in Armenia reported two Armenians among at least 171 people killed in what the Russian authorities said was a natural calamity.

A candlelight vigil in memory of the victims of the floods in Kuban was held in front of the Russian Embassy in Armenia on Monday, July 9, which was declared a national day of mourning in Russia.
