The vice president of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Xiaoyu Zhao, has promised to continue their activities in Armenia at a meeting with Serzh Sargsyan earlier on Wednesday.
According to a press release by the Presidential Office, the ADB senior official told the Armenian leader that they are now collaborating with the Government to implement the world-community funded North-South highway construction plan. The sides agreed that the program, which is critical to the Armenian economy, will greatly contribute development of other sectors as well.
They also mutually stressed the importance of the Bank's assistance in information technologies, tourism, agriculture, mining, chemical industries and other areas identified by the Government as priority sectors.
