Yerevan Modern Art Museum marks 40th anniversary

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan participated in an event marking the 40th anniversary of the Modern Art Museum.This cultural center was a unique one in the Soviet Union. Upholding the tradition, the museum staff marked the 40th anniversary of the cultural center.During the event, art lovers had the opportunity to visit an exhibition of works by art critics, see archived materials, articles and stands dedicated to the founder of the museum Henrik Igityan.The Yerevan mayor congratulated the museum staff and toured the exhibition halls.Talking to journalists, Taron Margaryan said that the museum remains in the center of Yerevan Municipality's attention, and the city authorities will continue development programs.
