Austrian president Heinz Fischer described his visit to Armenia as successful, adding that he was warmly received in Armenia and is very happy for it.
"Our talks with president and the prime minister were focused on development of economic relations and steps over boosting these ties," he said, adding that few memorandums were signed to serve as a basis for further cooperation.
Heinz Fischer also said that at the meeting with President Sargsyan they have talked about a number of political issues, regional developments.
"We have also spoken about Armenia-EU, Armenia-Austria relations. I want to say that within the limits of its opportunities Austria will do everything possible to boost Armenia-EU relations, which now I consider good," he said.
The Austrian president stressed about the existence of big potential for development of the tourism sphere in Armenia, voicing willingness to cooperate in the area.
