Republican Party rep. on Ter-Petrosyan=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s statement

Galust Sahakyan, the leader of the Republican Party faction in parliament, appears to have no idea about the first president's Tuesday speech.
Speaking to Tert.am, the ruling party's representative said that he has neither read nor knows anything about Levon Ter-Petrosyan's proposals voiced at the opposition Armenian National Congress' rally.
Asked to comment on the ex-president's statement that the Republican is doing its utmost to frustrate a possible collaboration between the ANC and the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), Sahakyan answered: "Prosperous [Armenia] is an organized party having its own reputation. As for his positive statements about PAP … well, that could only give rise to positive emotions. But I don't think the ANC has to make logical assessments on any party, whether positive or negative."
Sahakyan added that he theoretically agrees to ANC faction's Secretary Aram Manukyan's statement that their presence in parliament creates a shower effect on the political majority
"That has to be the opposition's role naturally. They must be able to make the ruling party more vigilant. But to my mind, it is still too early to attribute that to them," he said.
