Recurrence of ceasefire violations reduced

The violations of the Ceasefire Accord on the north-eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border have reduced over the past days.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Defense, no victims were reported in the recent series of gunfire that followed the armed attack against the military posts in the Tavush region.
The Ministry calls upon the media outlets to verify all reports on ceasefire violations and gunfires before publishing them.
"The Republic of Armenia Armed Forces keep the situation across the Line of Contact under control, strictly following the observance of the ceasefire and resorting to retaliation only upon noticing targeted violations by the enemy. The frontline subdivisions of the Armed Forces keep maintaining duty in a 24/7 regime," reads the Ministry's statement.
