Following a consultation at the Armenian presidential residence, Armenia's Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan held a meeting with journalists. He noted that judicial reforms are a permanent process in any state.Minister Tovmasyan spoke of new tasks set at each stage of social development, which have to be accomplished.The 2012-2016 program of judicial reforms is essentially different from its predecessor, Tovmasyan said.The program envisages the measures to be implemented during the period.The 4-year program sets long-term tasks. Also, amendments made be made to the program for 2014-2016."The key index will be the efficiency of our government system, impartiality of our judicial system, transparency of government-rendered services to the public," Minister Tovmasyan said.This is an anti-corruption program. After the program has been completed, 80 to 90 percent of services are to be rendered within a day, by means of Internet.
