EPP Summit kicks off in Brussels

The European People's Party (EPP) Summit has started in Brussels.Numerous high-ranking officials from different countries are participating in the Summit.The Tert.am correspondent reports from Brussels that Armenia's President, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan is participating in the Summit and is to deliver a speech there.On February 9, 2012, the RPA, as well as the Rule of Law and Heritage parties joined the EPP. The EPP Assembly's decision granted the observer status to the parties.Among the participants are the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission -Herman van Rompuy and José Manuel Barroso – EPP President Wilfried Martens, Angela Merkel (Germany), Mariano Rajoy (Spain), Jean-Claude Juncker(Luxembourg), Donald Tusk (Poland), Fredrik Reinfeldt (Sweden) and others.   Read more...
