Chess: Aronian suffers another defeat ahead of crunch game at Tal Memorial

Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian lost to Russia's Alexander Morozevich in Round 5 of the ongoing Mikhail Tal Memorial in Moscow slipping further down to the eighth position among ten competitors.

This is the second defeat of the Armenian chess ace at the tournament where his next rival today is Norway's Magnus Carlsen, FIDE's current number one he has hoped to unseat rating-wise.

Aronian already beat Carlsen in a blitz game preceding the main tournament in the Russian capital where he played with black pieces. The Armenian today again plays with the blacks (the game starts at 3 pm Moscow/Yerevan time).
