Today staff members of the Police Department's Main Examination Board have completed an audit of documents seized from the Aramous Municipality in Kotayk Marz.
Aramous Mayor Hrayr Nikoghosyan told Hetq that all his papers had been taken ad that all he has left in his office is the community's "official seal”.
Earlier today, cops had arrived with a court order t search the municipality and to seize a variety of documents and other papers. The locked the office doors during their search.
MPs of the Prosperous Armenia Party arrived on the scene sometime later to find out what was happening. (Mayor Nikoghosyan is a member of this party). The two MPs said that the police were not courteous ad refused t offer any explanations for their actions. Cops even prevented the MPs from entering the municipality.
