nd opposition parties elected to the parliament have to rely on an ideal partnership, according to Samvel Nikoyan, the speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly.
“The spectrum entire political arena is represented in parliament, so there is a possibility to unite and have a powerful opposition in case the coalition is ideal,” he told Tert.am in Yerevan’s Victory Park.
Asked whether the [ruling] Republican Party considers Prosperous Armenia a coalition partner, he avoided giving any comment. Instead, he recommended journalists to follow the parties’ ideologies and political orientation.
“For that, the party has platforms and ideologies which you prefer to hear from us instead of taking the trouble to read them,” he said.
