ustify; “>On May 6 the Armenian people witnessed the best elections.
Free and fair elections met public expectations Khosrov Harutyunyan, Chairman of the Christian-Democratic Union (CDU) of Armenia, told journalists on Thursday.
“We should congratulate one another and the public on the major political achievements. No one can reject the idea that the public is not any longer discussing elections now, days after the elections,” Harutyunyan said.
According to him, Armenia’s society was more “politically active and mature” in the 2012 parliamentary elections.
The lack of black PR during the parliamentary elections is a most serious plus for the Armenian authorities’ political assets, Harutyunyan said. He stressed a peaceful post-election atmosphere in the country.
