Heritage: Armenians held their biggest 20th century victories on May 9

ritage party has issued a statement, extending its greeting to the Armenian nation on the May 9 triple victory day.

“The Armenian nation celebrated its biggest victories of the 20^th century on May 9. The Armenians, who were exhausted by bloodsheds at the century’s beginning, bravely resisted [the battle] of Sardarapat and, straining their last efforts, were able to neutralize the enemy’s threat,” reads the statement.

Praising the nation’s heroism in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War, the Heritage representatives note that the Armenians were topless in terms of the number of their high military command officers and fighters declared as heroes.  Read more... (1536 words, 12 images)
