World to know Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents=?UTF-8?B?4oCZIA==?=poem

le=”text-align: justify; “>‘Yes im anush Hayastani…’ (Ես իմ անուշ Հայաստանի), a well-known poem by the great Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, will be translated into all languages.

Lilit Hakobyan, Director of the Yeghishe Charents museum, told journalists on Thursday that the museum has initiated translations of the poem into all language. The museum has received translations from 30 countries.

“In some languages, we have even received several translations. For example, we have several Persian translations, three Spanish translations, two French translations. We will form an expert commission to examine the translations and select the most accurate ones,” Hakobyan said.

The museum also initiated translation of Yeghishe Charents’ works into English. The writer and translator Samvel Mkrtchyan is to do the translation.
