An independent political analyst believes that the May 6 Parliamentary election campaign in Armenia differs from the previous ones only "by the atmosphere of tolerance."
Political analyst Yervand Bozoyan said at his Thursday press conference that as compared to the previous ones this campaign "is quieter and hatred-free."
"The campaign in general is somewhat low-quality or, I'd say, kind of exhausted; there is no enthusiasm, no vigor in it, and consequently, despite the fact that the party plans are good, they are not being discussed and properly introduced to the public," Bozoyan said, adding that although this year the internet is of greater use for campaign purposes than before, it does not play any significant part in the campaign. "Unfortunately, I do not see that new technologies are used to their best."
