FC Shirak came from a goal down to beat FC Mika in the second leg of the Cup semifinal played in Yerevan on Thursday.
The 2-1 win qualified the Gyumri club for the final despite the 2-2 aggregate score (Shirak had lost 0-1 in the first-leg match at home) due to the "more away goals" rule applied in the knockout tournament.
Shirak will play another provincial club, Impuls (Dilijan), in the Cup final that is going to be held at Gyumri's reconstructed City Stadium on April 29.
The Cup is the only trophy up for grabs for Armenian clubs this year due to the regular league season extension until 2013 for switching to the autumn-spring championship mode.
