Seven international, forty-seven local organizations to monitor May 6 parliamentary elections in Armenia

le=”text-align: justify; “>The deadline for changes in the accreditation list of organizations to monitor the parliamentary elections in Armenia expired on April 26. Seven international and forty-seven local organizations will monitor the elections.

The number of observers from local NGOs will reach 28 841. The Central Election Commission does not detail how much observers are registered from international organizations.

Seven international organizations – the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODHIR), Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly, CIS observing mission, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the European Parliament – will monitor the parliamentary elections in Armenia.
