le=”text-align: justify; “>Levon Zurabyan, Head of the campaign headquarters of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), made a speech at the ANC rally in Yerevan’s Freedom Square on Friday.

Before Zurabyan’s speech, Aram Manukyan, who chaired the rally, informed the participants of the amount the ANC has spent on its election campaign, comparing it with the amounts spent by other political forces. According to him, the ANC spent AMD 4m (a little more than $10,000), Rule of Law party AMD 27m, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) AMD 36m and the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) AMD 50m.

Manukyan said that he had held meetings with about 800 citizens, and none of them was a RPA supporter. “This means that the RPA is nothing,” he said.  Read more... (2095 words, 9 images)
