New chief of Charentsavan Police appointed

Chief of Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan has signed decrees to replace the chiefs of Charentsavan town’s (Kotayk region) police department.

As Photo reporter Gagik Shamshyan told Tert.am, Colonel Samvel Tonoyan, a deputy chief of the regional police department, has been appointed to the post.

Under another decree by Gasparyan, the former chief of Charentsavan police, Deputy Colonel Arman Melkonyan, was dismissed from office and received an appointment at the General Police Department on Combating Organized Crimes.
