Armenian athletes participating in this year's Summer Olympic Games in London will be wearing the sports clothing from the Russian company, Forward. This was confirmed on Friday evening during the official presentation of the uniforms in Yerevan.
"This beautiful clothing, with bright and radiant colors, will bring success to our athletes, will make our expectations come true, and after the London Olympics we will gather and celebrate our victories," National Olympic Committee of Armenia (NOCA) President Gagik Tsarukyan said.
The contract between the NOCA and Forward is effective through the end of 2014, meaning that the company will also provide Armenia with sport clothing for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, to be held at the beginning of that year.
