Gyumri murders not political - Chief of Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s police

le=”text-align: justify; “>Chief of Armenia’s Police Vladimir Gasparyan claims that the death of Vahram Beibutyan, Chief Investigator in charge of the murder case involving the Gyumri mayor’s would-be son-in-law, has no political connotations.

At his press conference on Friday, Gasparyan did not speak of any suspects. He promised the crime would be solved within the shortest period possible.

“There can never be unsolved crimes. This crime cannot be an exception,” Gasparyan said.

Lieutenant-Colonel of Armenia’s police Vahram Beibutyan, Chief Investigator in charge of the murder case involving the Gyumri mayor’s would-be son-in-law, was run over at 1:00 am on Friday and dies on the way to hospital.
